The Green Bay Phoenix will soak up the sun for one more day on Monday when they wrap up their weekend residency on the U.S. Virgin Islands with a final Paradise Jam matchup against Iona.
The Phoenix leaned on two major contributors, C.J. O’Hara and Justin Allen, to knock off Massachusetts 79–75 on Saturday at the Paradise Jam. Allen delivered a massive spark off the bench, scoring 27 points on 7-13 shooting and a perfect 12-12 at the stripe. O’Hara, steady all season, added 21 points on an efficient 7-11 from the field while logging heavy minutes once again.
The Gaels have also split their two Paradise Jam games, losing to Akron 95-76 before beating Oregon State 91-84 in overtime. Leading the way this season are Toby Harris and Lamin Sabally, who both reached double figures against the Beavers in their last game.
Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
