The Green Bay Gamblers capped off their weekend in Omaha with another strong outing, defeating the Lancers 4-1 on Saturday night to secure back-to-back wins at Liberty First Credit Union Arena.
Green Bay wasted no time setting the tone. Tomas Rozsíval opened the scoring just 1:26 into the first, and Austin Gulley added a power-play strike minutes later to make it 2-0. The Gamblers took that lead into the break and never looked back.
The second period mirrored Friday’s performance: structured, opportunistic, and backed by special teams. Rozsíval netted his second of the night on the power play at 12:30, and Conboy extended the lead to 4-0 late in the period. That cushion held up the rest of the way.
Omaha broke through once in the third, but Ryan Slavick stayed locked in, stopping 24 of 25 shots for his second straight win and improving to 6-5-2 on the year.
Green Bay outshot the Lancers 35-25 and went 2-for-7 on the power play while keeping Omaha scoreless on their five chances.
With the sweep, the Gamblers continue to build momentum as they climb the Eastern Conference standings.
