The Green Bay Packers are gearing up to face their division rivals, the Minnesota Vikings, this Sunday at Lambeau Field.
The Packers, currently sitting in second place in the NFC North with a 6-3-1 record, are looking to maintain the momentum from their recent 27-20 win against the New York Giants. The Vikings will be aiming to bounce back after a narrow 19-17 loss to the Chicago Bears. During the Packers' match-up with the Giants, quarterback Jordan Love sustained a left shoulder injury late in the first quarter, which sidelined him for the entire second quarter for evaluation. Love ultimately returned in the second half, and despite reporting some lingering soreness to Head Coach Matt LeFleur, his full participation in practice suggests he will be ready for Sunday's matchup. Love finished the game with 174 passing yards and two touchdowns. While Love was briefly out, Malik Willis stepped in for a single drive, completing both of his passes for 6 yards and a touchdown, and adding 16 rushing yards. On the ground, Emmanuel Wilson contributed 40 rushing yards and a touchdown. Through the air, Christian Watson led the receiving effort with 4 receptions for 40 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, Keisean Nixon was a standout with 8 solo tackles. Isaiah McDuffie was also highly active, tallying 11 total tackles, 5 of which were solo. Evan Williams contributed with 8 tackles and an interception, while Micah Parsons racked up 6 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and forced a fumble.
The kick-off is at 12:00 PM.
