Phoenix men's basketball playing in Paradise Jam
The UW-Green Bay men’s basketball team is set to compete in the Paradise Jam in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, this weekend, playing three games. Their first matchup is against Yale on Friday at 11:30 a.m. Following that, they will face the University of Massachusetts Amherst, with the time and date still to be determined. The Phoenix will play a third game on Monday against an opponent that is still TBD. In their last outing, the Phoenix fell to Minnesota in overtime, 72-65. Leading the scoring effort were Presenton Ruedinger and Marcus Hall, both with 15 points. Ruedinger also contributed 6 assists and was clutch in regulation, scoring 5 points in the final minutes to force overtime. Hall added 4 rebounds. CJ O’Hara chipped in 11 points and led the team with 8 rebounds. Justin Allen rounded out the key contributors with 12 points, 5 rebounds, and a team-high 2 steals.
