Blizzard roster updates
The Green Bay Blizzard continues to strengthen their roster as the 2026 IFL season approaches. The team has resigned wide receiver Tarrell Carey for his second season in the IFL. The 6'0", 200 lb receiver began his collegiate career at the University of Northern Iowa before transferring to UW-Oshkosh. Following college, Carey played a season with the Cedar Rapids Titans of the American Indoor Football (AIF). He earned his spot on the Blizzard roster last year after attending an open try-out, playing in three games as a wide receiver and on special teams. Green Bay has also added running back Sammy Malignaggi, who will be entering his rookie season in the IFL. Malignaggi played three seasons at James Madison University before finishing his collegiate career at Campbell University. Blizzard coaches were reportedly impressed by Malignaggi's athletic versatility and his quick ability to adapt to new offensive schemes.
