Phoenix men hitting the road against Gophers

    The UW-Green Bay men’s basketball team is hitting the road this Sunday to play the Minnesota Golden Gophers at the Williams Center. Both teams are looking to recover from recent defeats, with the Gophers coming off an 83-60 loss to Missouri and the Phoenix falling 81-60 to St. Thomas. Despite the loss, several Phoenix players delivered notable individual efforts. Mac Weckle led the team with 10 points, adding 4 rebounds, an assist, and 2 steals. Justin Allen contributed 9 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 block, while Marcus Hall tallied 7 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. Other key performers included Lebron Thomas with 6 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals, and Ramel Bethen, who posted 5 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Caden Wilkins rounded out the strong defensive efforts with 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks.
