Gamblers selected for Team USA 2025 World Junior A Challenge

The Green Bay Gamblers have had 4 Gamblers selected to compete with for Team USA in the upcoming 2025 World Junior A Challenge.

 

Gamblers selected include Gunnar Conboy (forward), Landon Hafele (forward), Mace’o Philips (defenseman), and Pat McCadden (head coach). This event is taking place from December 7th to 13th in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada. Team USA is entering this challenge as the defending champions.

 

Gunnar Conboy earned his spot after returning from injury and making his USHL debut, playing in back-to-back games agaisnt the Madison Capitol. He made a huge impact, earning time on the power play and penalty kill. Conboy was also named team captain at the 2025 Under-17 Four Nations Tournament this summer.

 

Landon Hafele is an alumnus of the US National Team Development Program (NTDP), and in just 14 games played so far, Hafele has 6 goals, 7 assists, on 38 shots, including a power play goal.

 

Mace’o Philips is also an alumnus of the NTDP. He is returning to the international stage after representing the US in multiple tournaments this summer, including the 2025 IIHF Under-18 Men’s World Championship.

 

Pat McCadden, named as an assistant coach for Team USA, shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming World Junior A Challenge. He commented, "I'm extremely excited and thankful for the opportunity to coach on this year's World Junior A Challenge staff. Anytime you have a chance to represent your country on the international stage it's a true honor.
