The Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team will kick off its week of games early on Monday with an 11 a.m. Education Day class against Ripon.
The Phoenix dropped a pair of non-conference games last week, losing to #19 Kansas 91-54 and Buffalo 83-76. Marcus Hall led the Phoenix with 17 points while C.J. O'Hara chipped in nine points in their loss against the Jayhawks while redshirt-freshman guard Caden Wilkins turned in a breakout performance against the Bulls, pouring in a career-high 22 points, including 6-of-8 shooting from three-point range.
The Red Hawks opened their season with a 76-58 loss to UW-Whitewater. The roster features former NEC player Isaac Knoll (Fox Valley Lutheran) and several other players from northeast Wisconsin.
The game is part of Green Bay's Education Day festivities, which gives thousands of tickets to local schools to take in the game.
