Mike Holmgren, former head coach of the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks, has been named a semifinalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026 for the second consecutive year. He was previously a semifinalist but was not inducted. Holmgren's coaching career spanned from 1992 to 2008, beginning with the Packers (1992-1998) and concluding with the Seahawks (1999-2008). He boasts an impressive record of 161-111 in the regular season and 13-11 in the playoffs. Under his leadership, the Packers won Super Bowl XXXI, and he guided the Seahawks to an appearance in Super Bowl XL. Other coaches joining Holmgren as semifinalists include Bill Belichick, Tom Coughlin, Chuck Knox, Buddy Parker, Dan Reeves, Marty Schottenheimer, George Seifert, and Mike Shanahan. The Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026 will be announced at the NFL Honors in San Francisco in February, with the enshrinement ceremony taking place in Canton in August.
