The Green Bay Gamblers made it a perfect weekend at the Resch Center, defeating the Dubuque Fighting Saints 3-2 on Saturday night for a second straight win.
Dubuque struck first just four minutes into the game on a goal from Chase Richards, but Green Bay flipped the momentum with a dominant second period, scoring three straight goals to take control.
Tyler Katz started the surge with a power-play tally at 10:18, assisted by Cole Wooten and Ryan O’Sullivan. Less than two minutes later, Ethan Drabicki buried his third of the season off helpers from Eli Bienstock and Luke Gulley, giving the Gamblers their first lead.
After Dubuque tied things back up late in the period, Green Bay responded quickly as Liam Samuelsson scored the go-ahead goal at 18:15, assisted by Drabicki and Carson Buesgens, to make it 3-2 heading into the final frame.
Goaltender Alejandro Henriquez was sharp once again, stopping 31 of 33 shots to secure the win, while Green Bay went 1-for-1 on the power play.
The Gamblers (now 6-4-0-1) will stay home to face the Waterloo Black Hawks on Friday, November 7 at the Resch Center.
