Packers prevent history in win over Steelers

Aaron Rodgers will have to wait if he wants to become the fifth quarterback in NFL history to beat all 32 teams after the Green Bay Packers came back to beat his Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday night 35-25.

It looked for awhile that Rodgers join the list that includes Peyton Manning and Tom Brady after the Packers' offense disappeared following a 16-yard touchdown pass from Jordan Love to Tucker Kraft made it 7-3. The Steelers took a 16-7 lead into halftime before the Packers turned things around midway through the third quarter. That is when Love threw a swing pass over to Savion Williams for a score that made it 16-14. Following a Steelers' field goal, the Packers scored the next 21 points thanks to Josh Jacobs's rushing touchdown, a second Love-to-Kraft connection, and two field goals from Brandon McManus. Rodgers salvaged some points late, but it was not nearly enough to prevent the Packers from their fifth win of the season.

Love shined in front of his mentor, throwing for 360 yards and three touchdowns compared to Rodgers' 219 yards and two touchdowns. The Packers also showcased the defense it could be with a forced turnover and three sacks, including two from Rashan Gary.

The Packers are back in action on Sunday when they return to Lambeau Field to face the Carolina Panthers for a noon kick.
