Packers earn comeback win against Cardinals

The Green Bay Packers outscored the Arizona Cardinals 14-3 in the fourth quarter to escape State Farm Stadium with a 27-23 win on Sunday.

The Packers' secondary struggled against the Cardinals, allowing Jacoby Brissett to author long drives in the first half including his first of two touchdown passes to Trey McBride in the second quarter. Brissett ended his day 25-36 for 279 and two touchdown passes. New kicker Lucas Havrisik kept the Packers with two field goals, including a franchise setting 61-yarder to end the half to make it 13-6 at the break.

The two teams traded touchdowns in the third quarter with the Packers' Josh Jacobs and the Cardinals' McBride find the endzone. In the fourth quarter, Tucker Kraft helped the Packers tie the game at 20 with a seven-yard pass before Jacobs' second touchdown gave the team its final margin of victory.

Jordan Love was 19-29 for 179 yards and a score through the air while Jacobs had 55 yards rushing to go along with his two scores.

The Packers will now prepare for their highly anticipated matchup against Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road on Sunday at 7:20 p.m.
