Gamblers set to face Team USA

The Green Bay Gamblers are gearing up to face the US National Team Development Program this Thursday at the USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan.

 

This follows their recent two-game series against the Waterloo Blackhawks. In the first game, the Gamblers fell 5-4. Goals were scored by Caleb Katz, Zach Guelley (twice), and Nick Knutson. Goalkeeper Aiden Slavick made 11 saves on 16 shots before Mateo Henriquez took over and stopped all 10 shots he faced. The Gamblers rallied in the second game, securing a 6-4 victory despite entering the third period with a 3-0 deficit. They scored six goals to seal the win, with contributions from Axel Samuelsson, Jaxon Sokol, Owen Philips, Drew Hafele, and another two from Guelley. Henriquez started in goal for this game, making 20 saves on 24 shots.

    

The face-off is at 6:00 pm.
