The Green Bay Gamblers' 2025-2026 season got off to a rough start over the weekend in the USHL Fall Classic, losing 5-4 to Omaha on Thursday and 3-2 in a shootout on Friday to Sioux Falls.

In Thursday's loss, the Gamblers scored four goals in the first seven minutes of the second period thanks to Gavin Katz, Nikita Fedotov, Oliver McKinney, and Zach Wooten. With the Gamblers leading 4-2, the Lancers scored three straight to end the game.

On Friday, Landon Hafele and Zach Wooten scored in the second period, but the Gamblers allowed two goals in the third period before being outdueled 2-1 in the shootout.

The Gamblers will remain on the road this weekend when they play at Muskegon.
