While high school football is usually reserved for Friday night lights, some area teams are getting an earlier season kickoff.
Thursday games include:
- Algoma hosting NEW Lutheran at 7 p.m.
- Sevastopol traveling to Wild Rose at 7 p.m.
- Sturgeon Bay welcoming Brillion at 7 p.m.
The NEW Radio Sports Network will begin its slate of games on Friday featuring
- Luxemburg-Casco playing at home against Seymour on 104.1 WRLU
- Southern Door hitting the road to face New Holstein on U-102.1
- Gibraltar and Wabeno/Laona facing each other in Fish Creek on 105.1 The GOAT.
All three broadcasts will begin with pregame coverage at 6:45 p.m. followed by the kickoff at 7 p.m.
