Two errors in the eighth helped the Devilbears score their insurance run as they went on to win 2-0. The three errors spoiled a strong performance from Collin Lacey, who allowed the two runs (0 ER) on one hit, striking out seven along the way. Kyle Routhieaux matched the Devilbears' offensive output with two hits, with Lacey, Owen Deprez, and Cole Bzdawka also contributing.
