Mets rally back against the A's

After losing their lead in the ninth inning, Maplewood scraped together another two runs in extras to beat Baileys Harbor 8-6.

Scoreless through five innings, both teams put up crooked numbers in the sixth inning with the Mets scoring five of the eighth runs in the frame thanks to a string of three singles and an error. The game was 6-3 in the ninth inning before the A's pushed across one run before Caleb Plzak tied the game on a two-run homer. Adam Gutschow made it a quick bout in the 10th with his own two run homer to put the Mets up before the A's went 1-2-3 in their half of the inning.

Plzak led the A's offensively, going 2-4 with two RBI. Gutschow and Zach Marchant posted multiple hit games for the Mets.
