Rockers double up Woodchucks

The Green Bay Rockers struck first and added on late in its 10-5 win over the Wausau Woodchucks on Thursday night.

The Rockers posted three runs in the second inning thanks in part to back-to-back run-scoring singles from Jeremy Delamota and Stefan Di Corrado and led 3-1 before the two teams combined to score 11 runs in the back half of the game. The scoring spurt was highlighted by home runs from the Rockers' Eric Jeon and Joe Mennella.

Mennella had three RBI while Jeon, David Ballenilla, Max Humphrey, Delamota, and Di Corrado knocked in runs. Collin Helms, Eli Selga, and Humphrey posted multi-hit games. The Rockers used five pitchers in the game, with Ethan Alexander earning the win after allowing no runs on one hit and one walk while striking out two.
