The Green Bay Rockers clubbed four home runs to beat the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 9-6 on Monday night in Ashwaubenon.
The Rockers did their work in the first four innings, putting up at least two runs in three. The Rockers' Collin Helms struck first with a solo homer to kick off a four-run first inning. Eli Selga homered in the second inning, David Ballenilla hit a two-run dinger in the third, and Selga struck again with a two-run round-tripper to cap off the Rockers' scoring. The Rafters posted a pair of three-run innings in the seventh and eighth innings, but it was not enough to flip the script against the Rockers.
Selga ended his night going 2-3 with two homers and three RBI. Aidan Kuni and Brayden Buchanan also had two-hit nights. Steve Marhefke earned the win with six innings of shutout ball, allowing five hits while striking out five.
