Summer just ended for football players across the state as the season officially kicks off on Tuesday.

Tuesday marks the first day players can gather their equipment and coaches can hold practices. 

Games start approximately two weeks later with Algoma hosting NEW Lutheran, Sturgeon Bay welcoming Brillion, and Sevastopol traveling to Wild Rose on Thursday while Kewaunee visits Racine Horlick, Luxemburg-Casco and Seymour meet in Luxemburg, Southern Door battles New Holstein on the road, and Gibraltar plays Wabeno/Laona at home the next night.
