General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced that the Packers signed LB Jared Bartlett and released S Kahzir Brown. According to Packers.com, Bartlett (6-2, 238) was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Jets after collegiate stops at West Virginia and Cincinnati.
