Pitchers for the Green Bay Rockers struggled to keep the ball in the yard Saturday afternoon as they lost to Wisconsin Rapids 11-4.
The Rafters hit four homers on the afternoon, including two homers off the bat of Kerim Orucevic. That led to crooked numbers in four of the first five innings for the Rafters, including three runs in the fourth and fifth innings. The Rockers string together base hits to post a pair of two-run innings, but theyvwere outhit 14-6 on the day. Collin Helms and Eli Selga each had two hits in the loss.
The Rockers used six pitchers in the loss, with Evan Bogart the most effective as he walked four but struck out five in three shutout innings.
