A two home run night from Eric Jeon was more than enough to send the Green Bay Rockers to a 4-1 win over the Lakeshore Chinooks on Thursday night.
Jeon drove in all four runs on the night, hitting a solo shot in the third inning and the game-winning three-run homer in the ninth inning to send the Rockers. Offense was hard to come by otherwise, with the teams combining for just nine hits and Chinooks pushing across their lone run in the eighth inning.
Collin Helms and Jeon each had two hits, with Kasen Khansarinia collecting the other one. KJ Ward earned the win in relief after allowing the game-tying run. He walked two and struck out four in three innings of relief. Caden Watson nailed down the save.
The Rockers return home for a pair of games, hosting the Chinooks at 6:35 p.m. Friday before welcoming Wisconsin Rapids for the front end of a home-and-home on Saturday at 1:05 p.m.
