Blizzard, Sharks meet for regular season finale

The Green Bay Blizzard looks to enter the playoffs on a high note when they travel to Jacksonville, Fla., to face the Sharks.

The Blizzard boosted their resume last weekend when they beat the Massachusetts Pirates 56-27 at the Resch Center with Santa Claus in attendance. Trailing 10-7 after the first quarter, the Blizzard outscored the Pirates in the final three quarters, including 20-3 in the third quarter. Max Meylor was efficient behind center, going 13/16 for 183 yards and six touchdowns with an interception. Kymani Clarke scored touchdowns through the air and on the ground in the win, piling up 31 all-purpose yards. The game ended with an exclamation point as Kevin Ransom took an interception the other way for a 29-yard pick-six.

Kickoff is set for 6:05 p.m.
