The Green Bay Blizzard released tickets for their second straight playoff appearance on Tuesday.
The organization announced the details for their home playoff game on August 3rd against an opponent to be TBD. The Blizzard had home field advantage last season during the playoffs, coming up one game short of the championship game.
The Blizzard boosted their resume last weekend when they beat the Massachusetts Pirates 56-27 at the Resch Center with Santa Claus in attendance. Trailing 10-7 after the first quarter, the Blizzard outscored the Pirates in the final three quarters, including 20-3 in the third quarter. Max Meylor was efficient behind center, going 13/16 for 183 yards and six touchdowns with an interception. Kymani Clarke scored touchdowns through the air and on the ground in the win, piling up 31 all-purpose yards. The game ended with an exclamation point as Kevin Ransom took an interception the other way for a 29-yard pick-six.
Tickets can be purchased online through the Resch Center. The Blizzard will play their regular season finale on the road Saturday night in Jacksonville, Fla.
