The Green Bay Rockers snapped their two-game losing streak with a 6-0 win over the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters on Monday night.
Not only did they outhit the Rafters 8-6, they took advantage of five Rafters errors that led to four unearned runs. The Rockers only needed one big inning to do in the Rafters, scoring four runs in the second inning. The Rockers tacked on insurance runs in the eighth and ninth innings to secure the win.
David Ballenilla went 3-5 with one RBI, while Kasen Khansarinia registered two hits and Max Humphrey drove in three runs.Gavin Brummund sparkled in his six innings of work, allowing no runs on three hits while striking out four.
They will stick around town on Tuesday to play the Madison Mallards at 6:35 p.m.
