Cubs, Braves make up contest Saturday afternoon

After rain washed out their first opportunity to play, Kolberg and Institute will renew pleasantries Saturday afternoon in Kolberg.

The Cubs are playing their second game in as many nights after falling to Egg Harbor on Friday. They would love to keep things closer than they were on May 18th when the Braves scored at least three runs in the first four innings including 10 in the fourth of a 26-4 blowout.

The Braves hope to extend their winning streak to three after beating Baileys Harbor 11-1 last Sunday. They will play West Jacksonport on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.

The Cubs and Braves meet at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
