Shoreland League: A's edge Devilbears, face Chiefs Friday

Casco got another strong pitching performance on Thursday night to improve to 7-2 on the season with a 3-2 win over Denmark.

Noah Lindsley went the distance for the A's with a two-run eighth inning the lone blemish on his night. He allowed two runs (1 ER) on eight hits while striking out 15 and walking no one. The A's had built up a 3-0 lead up until that point, scoring twice in the fifth inning on an error and a sacrifice fly and once more in the sixth courtesy of a Patrick Daniels RBI single.

Daniels paced the A's with a 3-3, one RBI night. Trevor Reinhardt and Colin Lacey also had two-hit nights for the A's in the win.

The A's are back in action against Kewaunee on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. The Chiefs are trying to snap a five-game losing streak that was kicked off by a 1-0 loss to the A's.
