Rockers enter All-Star break with win

The Green Bay Rockers enter the All-Star break with a 10-5 second-half record after beating the Lakeshore Chinooks  9-4.

The Chinooks jumped out to 4-0 lead before the momentum swung in favor of the Rockers with a six-run fifth inning. The rally was highlighted by a grand slam slugged by Joe Mennella. A two-run single by Caleb Daniel led the way for a three-run eighth inning to put the game well out of reach in favor of the Rockers.

Daniel, JP Peltier, and Mennella all had two hits as the Rockers outhit the Chinooks 10-3 despite committing three errors. Evan Bogart earned the win in relief, allowing no runs on one hit across the final five innings.
