NHL Draft highlights Gamblers offseason

The first games are months away, but that does not mean there has not been plenty of the action for the Green Bay Gamblers.

 

Most of the headlines this offseason have centered around last month's NHL Draft, which saw one of its top players, Aidan Park, get drafted by his hometown Edmonton Oilers with the second-to-last pick. Park will still head to Michigan in the fall to begin his collegiate career with the Wolverines.

 

Two other Gamblers players were also drafted by NHL teams.

 

 

 

USHL Player of the Year Will Zellers also got some facetime with the NHL during the offseason, joining former Gamblers Casey Mittelstadt, Andrew Peeke, and Mason Lohrei in wearing the black and gold of the Boston Bruins as a part of their development camp.

 

 

Zellers is just one of the many Gamblers alums that have made their way to NHL Development Camps this summer.

 

 

The Gamblers will play their first home series of the year October 4th and 5th against Team USA. You can see the full schedule below:
