Rockers swat Dock Spiders

Trailing early didn't deter the Green Bay Rockers from stretching their winning streak to eight games on Monday night, beating the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 12-7.

After giving up two runs in the first inning, the Rockers took control of the contest with a five-run third inning and three more runs in the fourth inning. The rallies thanks in part to a two-run double by Xaige Lancaster in the third inning and a three-run homer in the fourth by Caleb Daniel. The Dock Spiders scored five runs in the sixth inning to cut the lead to one, but the Rockers responded with four runs in their half of the inning to thwart the comeback.

Parker Martin and Daniel each posted two-hit games while Daniel, Max Humphrey, and Lancaster posted multi-RBI games. Alex LePage earned the win in limited work, allowing two runs (2 ER) on three hits while striking out four.
