A's stage comeback vs. Mets

Baileys Harbor scored five runs late to stun Maplewood 9-5 on the road.

The comeback came after losing its own 4-0 advantage after four innings. The Mets tied the game in the fifth inning with four runs, thanks partly to back-to-back homers from Adam Gutschow and Kordell Draves. They took the lead in the seventh inning when Jaden Diller singled in Kody Kissinger from A's pitcher Aaron Brey. The A's pieced together their first rally in the eighth inning, using a pair of singles and a fielder's choice to score the runs. Owen Dannhausen's single in the ninth added two more insurance to send the A's to the road victory.

Six different Mets registered hits in the loss, with Gutschow (2), Diller (1), and Draves (1) driving in the runs. Caleb Plzak went 2-4 with 2 RBI, Dannhausen had three RBI, and Brey had two RBI.
