Mets walk-off Braves

A Kody Kissinger single in the bottom of the 10th inning sent the Maplewood fans happy with a 6-5 victory over their southern Door County rivals 6-5.

The Braves struck first as they built a 3-0 lead through three innings before the Mets scored five unanswered runs in the fifth and sixth innings. The Braves rallied with single tallies in the seventh and ninth innings to force the extra frame.

Eight Mets players registered at least one hit, though it was Nolan Wagner that paced the team as he went 4-5 with two RBI. Winning pitcher Jeremiah Janhke helped his own cause with two RBI while Mark Villers also registered a multi-hit game.

For the Braves, Austin Rohe went 2-4 with a home run en route to a two RBI day. Jack Peterson also posted two hits in the loss for the Braves.
