Rockers sink Rafters

The Green Bay Rockers rebounded from its Friday night loss with an 8-5 Saturday win over the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters.

 

It was a come from behind victory for the Rockers after being down 4-1 in the third inning and 5-4 in the sixth inning. The Rockers sprinted ahead of the Rafters for good in the ninth inning by scoring three runs on an error and a two-run homer by Eli Selga.

 

Selga and Collin Helms each had two hits in the win, while David Bellenilla, Cooper Smith, Jalan Jones joined Selga in the RBI department. Drew Aguiar earned the win, throwing three innings of one-hit shutout ball before Tate Strickland struck out the side to get the save.
