The Green Bay Blizzard overcame a slow start to come back and beat the Iowa Barnstormers at the Resch Center Friday night 52-32.
Down 19-10 after the first quarter, the Blizzard sprinted ahead for good as they outscored their visitors 21-6 in the second quarter. They ended the game scoring 21 of the second half's 28 points.
Max Meylor completed just 50 percent of his passes and threw two interceptions, but he also tossed for 166 yards and five touchdowns and rushed for another in the Blizzard win. Harry Ballard led the Blizzard with two touchdowns and 41 receiving yards.
The Blizzard are back in action next Friday at the Resch Center when they host the Jacksonville Sharks.
