The area's baseball teams have more clarity as to where they will be heading when the WIAA Baseball Tournament begins next week.

 

While the tournament officially begins next Thursday, Kewaunee and Gibraltar/Washington Island will not have to worry about a win-or-go-home game until the following Tuesday. Below is the first matchup for each team in the tournament

 

#5 Luxemburg-Casco vs. #12 Waupaca on 5/29 at 5 p.m.

#10 Sturgeon Bay at #7 Marinette on 5/29 at 4:30 p.m.

 

#8 Southern Door vs. #9 Mishicot on 5/29 at 4:30 p.m

#4 Algoma vs. #13 Howards Grove on 5/29 at 4:30 p.m.

#2 Kewaunee vs. #7 Valders/#10 Manitowoc Lutheran on 6/3 at 4:30 p.m.

 

#11 Sevastopol at #6 Port Edwards on 5/29 at 4:30 p.m.

#2 Gibraltar/Washington Island vs. #7 Assumption/#10 Marion on 6/3 at 4:30 p.m.
