No matter how you interpret the Green Bay Packers' schedule release on Wednesday, you at least have more clarity on the when and where they will play in 2025.
The Packers showcased their schedule amidst a Josh Jacobs fever dream featuring teammates, alumni, Lil Wayne, and weird references like the Will Smith/Chris Rock slap incident.
The Packers' schedule release did highlight a few details:
- The Packers will open at home for the first time in the Matt LaFleur era.
- The Packers will be featured on Thanksgiving for the second straight season, this time making the trip to Detroit.
- A year after getting all the divisional rivals. Gold package season ticket holders will get an all-NFC East slate of the Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles. Complicating things for those ticket holders is that both games are on weekdays.
- The Packers will play five of their final seven games against their NFC North rivals, including the Chicago Bears twice in a three-week span.
- The Packers' bye week is in Week 5.
