Gamblers give up eight goals on consecutive nights to Madison

The Green Bay Gamblers had a rough weekend against their in-state rivals, losing their games to the Madison Capitols by scores of 8-5 on Friday and 8-1 on Saturday.

 

In Friday's game, the Gamblers had the game tied at five heading into the third period before the Capitols scored three straight goals on Leo Henriquez, who allowed all eight goals on 32 shots. Will Zelllers had a three point game with a goal and two assists while Robin Kuzma, Cooper Cleaves, Aidan Park, and Geno Carcone also lit the lamp in the loss.

 

In Saturday's defeat, Reece Cordray opened the scoring for the Gamblers only to see the Capitols score the next eight goals, scoring at least two goals in all three periods. Gavin Moffatt was chased from the game halfway through the second period, allowing five goals on 13 shots.
