Phoenix basketball streaks continue on the road

The Green Bay Phoenix basketball teams continued to streak in opposite directions on Saturday.

In the early game, the Phoenix women nearly doubled their lead in the third quarter on their way to a 78-48 rout of Robert Morris. Natalie McNeal and Cassie Schiltz had dueling double-doubles, with McNeal scoring a team-high 22 points and grabbing 18 rebounds, while the L-C alum Schiltz registered 20 points and 10 rebounds in the Phoenix's sixth straight win. The Phoenix dominated in the paint with a 47-24 edge in rebounding and a 36-20 advantage in scoring.

In Milwaukee, the Phoenix men again fell short to the Panthers in a 70-59 defeat. Down by 12 at the break, the Phoenix got it to within five points late in the second half before the Panthers could salt the game away from the line. Marcus Hall and Yonatan Levy each scored 15 points, while Mac Wrecke added 13 points in the loss, the 13th in a row for the Phoenix.
