Phoenix women rip Red Hawks

The Green Bay Phoenix women's basketball team started both halves strong to blow out Ripon on Thursday night 75-42.

 

The Phoenix women outscored the Red Hawks 23-7 in the first quarter and 20-7 at the beginning of the third quarter to set the tone for the rest of the half. Ten different Phoenix players scored in the game, including five that reached double figures. Natalie McNeal led the way with 15 points, and Jasmine Kondrakiewicz added 14 points, while Cassie Schiltz, Callie Genke, and Jenna Guyer all chipped in 10 points. Ella Ten Pas and McKenzie Bestor scored 10 points apiece in the loss for the Red Hawks.

 

The Phoenix women will battle UW-Parkside in a Saturday matinee.
