The Green Bay Packers got out to another fast start against the Miami Dolphins en route to a 30-17 victory on Thanksgiving night.
The Packers opening drive stumbled, but the punt returner for the Dolphins fumbled, setting up the short touchdown pass from Jordan Love to Jaden Reed to make it 7-0. They would make it 14-0 at the end of the first quarter when Josh Jacobs scored from one yard out following two long runs from Emmanuel Wilson. The Dolphins would finally get on the scoreboard with a field goal at the beginning of the second quarter, only to have the Packers answer with Reed's second touchdown grab and another field goal to make it 24-3 at the break.
After another Brandon McManus field goal made it 27-3, the Dolphins were finally able to cross the goalline with Tua Tagovailoa throwing a pair of touchdowns, with the second coming off of a deflection. McManus kicked his third field goal between the two touchdown passes to cap the scoring for the Packers.
Love finished his night going 21-28 for 274 yards and two touchdowns. Jacobs was kept in check with 43 yards rushing with a touchdown.
The Packers are back in action next Thursday night when they try to snap the Lions' long winning streak after they beat the Bears 23-20 at Ford Field.
