The Green Bay Phoenix men fell behind 23-6 early and could never catch up with the Evansville Purple Aces in a 98-81 defeat Friday night.
The host Purple Aces shot nearly 60 percent from the field and 43 percent from behind the arc in the rout. The Phoenix could not compete with the Purple Aces' height either, getting outscored 52-30 in the paint.
Anthony Roy had another strong outing with a game-high 31 points as he battled foul trouble for most of the night. Marcus Hall added 17 points and Jeremiah Johnson chipped in 11 points in the loss. The Purple Aces were led by Cameron Heffner's 27 points as four others reached double figures in scoring.
