Gamblers edged by Capitols

The Green Bay Gamblers could not hold off the Madison Capitols in a 2-1 loss on Saturday.

The Capitols struck first during a chippy opening period that saw game misconduct and a fight get penalized. The Gamblers tied things up in the second period when Aidan Park found the back of the net for this fifth goal of the season. With less than six minutes to go in the third period, Colton Jamieson broke the tie for the Capitols to give Madison the win.

The Gamblers ended the opening month with a 4-5-1 record, good for sixth place in the USHL Eastern Conference.
