Willis is what Packers are talking about after Titans win

For the second straight week, Malik Willis engineered a win with Jordan Love still on the sideline, this time a 30-14 win over the Tennessee Titans.

The Packers and Titans traded touchdowns on their opening drives with Willis cashing in from five yards on the ground to open things up for the Green and Gold. Thanks to a pair of field goals and an interception returned for a touchdown by Jaire Alexander, the Packers closed out the half with 13 consecutive points to take a 20-7 lead into the locker room.

The Packers would extend the lead further after being bailed out on a Titans penalty on a missed field goal attempt by Brayden Narveson. Emmanuel Wilson made the Titans pay when he scored on a 30-yard screen pass from Willis to make it 27-7. The Titans would tighten things up in the fourth quarter on a touchdown pass from Will Levis to Deandre Hopkins before Narveson kicked one last field goal to cap the scoring.

Willis was efficient once again as he completed 68 percent of his passes for 202 yards and a score. He also was on the doorstep of a Packers quarterback rushing record with 73 yards on six carries and a touchdown.

The Packers return to Lambeau next Sunday when they welcome the Minnesota Vikings for a noon start.
