The Green Bay Packers controlled the ground game and the clock in its 16-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
The Packers used six players to rush 53 times for 261 yards, including 151 yards from Josh Jacobs on 32 carries. The 53 rushes were the most the Packers had done in a game since the mid-1970s. The Packers also controlled the time of possession, holding onto the ball for over 40 minutes.
Despite those two dominating stats, it did not necessarily translate into points for the Packers, as they were still 1-3 in the red zone. It was 3-0 in the first quarter when Malik Willis threw the first touchdown pass of his career to Dontayvion Wicks to make it 10-. Willis would throw just over 120 yards on 12-14 passing. Brayden Narveson kicked two more field goals to finish the day 3-4, kicking and making it a 16-3 game in the early stages of the fourth quarter.
The Colts would tighten things in the game's final two minutes when Anthony Richardson found Alec Pierce for a four-yard touchdown, but Richardson's three interceptions earlier in the contest proved too much.
