The Green Bay Packers looked sharp in Saturday's preseason opener, beating the Cleveland Browns 23-10 on the road.
Jordan Love and the first-string offense ensured they would have a quick afternoon when he connected with Dontayvion Wicks for a 65-yard score in the opening two minutes. Sean Clifford would lead his own touchdown drive after the Browns got onto the scoreboard with a field goal. Emmanuel Wilson capped off that drive with a five-yard rushing touchdown to make it 14-3.
After that, it was a field goal clinic for the Packers as they made Greg Joseph and Anders Carlson kick for the job. A late score by the Browns' Aidan Robbins got to within a two-score game before the Packers ran out the clock inside Cleveland's 10-yard line.
