The Casco A's kept their season alive on Thursday with a 7-3 win over the Manitowoc Bandits to secure a place in the Shoreland League Championship series.
The A's struck early and often in their matchup against the regular-season champion Bandits. They scored all seven runs in the first four innings, with Owen Deprez's two-run shot in the first inning serving as the game's biggest blow. Tanner Alsteen took things from there, allowing two earned runs while striking out nine in a complete-game effort to secure the win.
The A's will host the Denmark Devilbears to kick off the Shoreland League Championship Series on Monday.
