Playing in front of its largest crowd in franchise history, the Green Bay Rockers won their home finale Wednesday night 3-0 over the Lakeshore Chinooks.
Sam Miller started the offense for the Rockers in the third inning with an RBI single that drove in Payton Mansfield. The Rockers would have to rely on Miller for insurance runs in the eighth inning when he went yard with a man on to make it 3-0 and cap off the scoring.
The Rockers outhit the Chinooks 7-4 as the visitors were held in check by pitcher Steve Marhefke. He went seven innings of shutout three-hit ball, striking out five. Connor Nolen earned the save with two scoreless innings while scattering one hit.
