The first signs of fall will be present on Tuesday as the area's 11-man football teams receive their pads and start practicing.

 

Kewaunee, Luxemburg-Casco, Southern Door, and Sturgeon Bay football players are allowed to begin practicing on Tuesday, approximately a full week before girls' golf (8/12), eight-man football (8/13), girls' tennis (8/13), and girls' swimming (8/13). While they report first, their ramp-up period is about a week older, with the first games not occurring until August 22nd at the earliest.
