Kolberg blanks Baileys Harbor

The Kolberg Braves did not need a full nine innings to dispatch the Baileys Harbor A's, outhitting them 11-2 in eight innings to win 16-0.

After a Kyle Routhieaux solo homer got them on the scoreboard in the second inning, the Braves plated six more in the third with a two-RBI double by Austin Rohe serving as the big blow in the frame. The Braves would score at least one run in the next four innings, including another back-breaking four-run rally in the seventh. To go along with their 11 hits, the Braves also drew 11 walks, five of which when the bases were loaded. Routhieaux, Rohe, Austen Dart, and Sam Koss all had two RBI, while Trevor Reinhardt and Routhieaux posted multi-hit games.

River Pawelski and Bryce Plzak recorded the only hits for the A's on the day. The team struck out five times and drew three walks. Charlie Neinas picked up the win, allowing two hits across six shutout innings.
